Robert Matre will be the official photographer for the GSGA at the Georgia State Amateur this year.  Idle Hour Club is a classic Donald Ross design, and it should prove to be an excellent venue and provide a dramatic backdrop for Georgia's "other major" .  Photo journals will be posted from the weekend rounds.

The cover features Joey Harris and Gene McClure crossing the bridge on the first hole of "The Old Lady", Ansley Golf Club's historic 1912 course in midtown Atlanta.
